Performance figures shown are design targets and objectives, not validated test results. CLARO is currently at TRL 3/CRL 4 — design finalised, prototype in development. Validation testing with Centexbel and Buildwise is planned. Environmental impact claims (energy savings, CO₂ reduction) are valid only in contexts where the kit replaces or avoids active cooling. Questions, answered.

CLARO uses a hybrid fixation system: neodymium N52 magnets combined with EPDM pressure clamps. This attaches securely to the fixed external frame of inward-opening windows — no drilling, no adhesive, no permanent modification. The kit is designed for 15-minute tool-free installation. This is a design target; real-world installation time will be validated during the pilot phase.
Our AI measurement engine uses a 4-photo protocol with a YOLO-based detection pipeline and 3D reconstruction. The system targets 93% accuracy (currently in development with Sirris, our AI optimisation partner). The confidence score threshold is set above 0.97 for 95% of measurements. If the confidence is too low, the app will ask for additional photos. The measurement pipeline is patent-pending.
CLARO is designed for European inward-opening windows (French-style casement). We offer four standard sizes (S/M/L/XL) designed to fit the most common window dimensions. The system is parametric, allowing ±5mm adjustments. Compatibility with specific frame materials (PVC, wood, aluminium) is being validated with RAAK Design and Buildwise. The 85% coverage figure is an internal estimate, not a validated measurement.
The smart fabric is a 4-layer laminate (~1.5mm total) co-developed with Centexbel using BASF materials. It combines: UV protection (target: up to 99%), heat rejection (SHGC target <0.30), privacy layer, and mosquito barrier (aperture <1.2mm, validated). Acoustic damping is in development for future versions. All performance targets will be validated through laboratory testing with Centexbel before commercial claims are made. We do not present targets as validated results.
CLARO is designed to improve summer comfort and reduce heat gain without air conditioning. The environmental benefit is most significant when the kit replaces or avoids the purchase and use of AC units. Assembly is handled by Belgian social workshops, supporting local employment. The kit is designed to be removable and recyclable. Projected thermal savings of ~500 kWh/kit/year are a target to be validated in the pilot — not a guaranteed figure.
CLARO is currently at TRL 3/CRL 4 — design finalised, prototype in development. We are planning a pilot of 20–50 units in Brussels (Q3 2026) to validate real-world performance. Pre-orders require a 15% deposit; after confirmation, this deposit is retained as an administrative fee if the order is cancelled before shipment. The kit is designed to be fully modular and upgradeable — add motorisation or smart features later without replacing the core system.
